Abu Dhabi Executive Council Decision No. 117/2023 states that the Department of Government Support will have additional responsibilities. These include developing and updating innovative programs and initiatives for government services, measuring customer satisfaction and performance, and improving the customer experience. The decision also instructs the coordination with the Abu Dhabi Executive Office to transfer assets and obligations related to these competencies to the Department of Government Support. Employees from the Executive Office working in these areas will be transferred to the Department. Budgets allocated for these competencies will also be transferred. The Department of Finance will include the necessary amounts in the budget for future years. Any conflicting provisions in a previous resolution are repealed. The decision was issued on July 17, 2023.
